Just got this XD 40 tactical and I have got to say this is the best hand gun I have ever fired. Just out of the box it is on target every time. No recoil and more quiet than the 9mm I own. All I can say is Love It

Astonishing accuracy right out of the box.
I got groups half the size of the ones I was getting with three different outa-the-box Glocks.
I like the grip safety.
The double action is light and the transition from "lifting off the safeties" to "fire" is clean, predictable and crisp beyond belief. You won't pull shots off target.
I tend to suffer jams with autos.
Not with this one, though.
